At COSMOS Sports, we are committed to providing quality products and excellent customer service. Warranty periods may vary depending on the product category and brand.

Overview

Warranty coverage applies only to manufacturing defects and is valid when products are used, maintained, and stored under normal and prescribed conditions. Warranty periods may vary depending on the product category and brand.

Warranty Does Not Apply To

  • Products that have exceeded the warranty period.
  • Incidental or accidental damage.
  • Products without a serial/chassis number, applicable to bicycles and gym equipment.
  • Malfunction of digital products due to user settings.
  • Negligence or improper maintenance.
  • Normal wear and tear items such as tires, racket strings, bearings, wheels, etc.
  • No warranty is applicable on products sold under clearance sale and promotional product unless otherwise specified at the time of purchase.
  • Products damaged or deteriorated due to long-term non-use.
  • Damage caused by misuse or improper usage.
  • Electronics parts have no warranty.

Bicycle Warranty

Warranty Coverage

  • Frame: Steel – 5 years; Alloy – Lifetime warranty (up to 5 years) against manufacturing defects in material and workmanship for the original owner, as per company policy.
  • Fork (Rigid or Suspension): 6 months from date of purchase against manufacturing defects.
  • Warranty is valid only for the original purchaser and cannot be transferred.
  • Original invoice, frame serial number, photographs of the issue, and additional information requested by the technical team must be provided.
  • Warranty applies only to bicycles purchased through authorized outlet or approved sales channels.
  • Electrical cycle: as per manufacturer policy.

Not Covered

  • Labour, transportation, or shipping costs.
  • Consumable parts such as tires, tubes, brake pads, cables, grips, chains, chain rings, bearings and similar wear items.
  • Improper assembly, accidents, misuse, abuse, negligence, or improper storage.
  • Modifications or non-original/incompatible components.
  • Cosmetic damage, scratches, paint chips, fading, rust or discoloration.
  • Regular riding wear, poor maintenance, lack of servicing or unauthorized repairs.
  • Competitive racing, stunts, jumps, extreme or abnormal usage.
  • Rental, commercial, institutional or shared-use bicycles.
  • Physical, accidental or impact-related damage.

  • Misuse, negligence, improper installation, unauthorized repairs, or inadequate maintenance.
  • Physical, accidental, electrical surge, or water-related damage.
  • Wear and tear from regular use.
  • Damage caused by poor maintenance or lack of servicing.
Roller Skates & Skateboards

Warranty Coverage

  • 2 Years against manufacturing defects in materials.

Not Covered

  • Wear and tear of wheels, wheel bearings, brake blocks, handles and other consumable parts.
  • Misuse, negligence or improper maintenance.
  • Physical, accidental or impact-related damage.
  • Stunts, extreme use or unauthorized modifications.
Racquet Sports

Warranty Coverage

  • No warranty on breakage of the badminton racket frame.
  • If the pasting between the racket shaft and handle comes out, it is covered under warranty.
  • Shoes and apparel are covered under their respective warranty policies.

Not Covered

  • Balls, grips and shuttlecocks.
  • Racket strings (guts).
  • Sweatbands and towels.
  • Physical, accidental or induced damage.
  • Misuse, negligence or improper maintenance.
  • Wear and tear due to regular use.
Indoor Sports Equipment

Applicable products: Table Tennis Tables, Foosball Tables, Carrom Boards and Pool Tables.

Warranty Coverage

  • 2 Years against manufacturing defects in frame, structure and joints.

Not Covered

  • Physical or accidental damage.
  • Surface damage, scratches, dents or impact damage.
  • Improper assembly, misuse or negligence.
  • Moisture, water or outdoor exposure.
  • Wear and tear.
  • Consumable parts such as balls, nets, handles and accessories.
Cricket Products

Warranty Coverage

  • 2 Years on cricket bat handles against manufacturing defects.
  • 2 Years on cricket apparel, shoes and cricket sets under normal usage conditions.
Warranty on cricket bats is applicable only to the handle and does not cover the blade. Cricket bats must be properly seasoned (knocked-in) before use.

Not Covered

  • Leather balls and tennis balls.
  • Breakage, cracks or damage to the bat blade.
  • Misuse, negligence, improper storage or abnormal usage.
  • Regular play wear and tear.
  • Physical, accidental or impact-related damage.
  • Unauthorized repairs or modifications.
Clothing & Apparel

Warranty Coverage

  • Most apparel products carry a 2-Year warranty against manufacturing defects.
  • Covers defects in fabric quality, zippers and workmanship under normal usage conditions.

Not Covered

  • Tears, cuts or external damage.
  • Improper washing, detergents, bleach or chemical exposure.
  • Color fading from improper care, washing methods or prolonged sunlight.
  • Leakage, pilling, shrinkage or issues from misuse/improper maintenance.
  • Wear and tear from regular use.
Swimming Products

Warranty Coverage

  • 2 Years against manufacturing defects in stitching and color fading.

Not Covered

  • Physical or accidental damage.
  • Improper usage, misuse or negligence.
  • Chemicals, improper storage or lack of maintenance.
  • Wear and tear from regular use.
  • Failure to follow product care and usage instructions.
Footwear

Warranty Coverage

  • 2 Years against manufacturing defects in stitching and colour fading.
  • 6 months warranty on sole pasting.

Not Covered

  • Shoe laces.
  • Shoe mesh and fabric damage.
  • Physical or accidental damage.
  • Improper usage or misuse.
  • Wear and tear.
  • Negligence or improper maintenance.
  • Failure to follow product usage and care instructions.
Team Sports Products

Applicable products: Footballs, Basketballs, Volleyballs, Handballs and Hockey Equipment.

Warranty Coverage

  • 2 Years against manufacturing defects on all products unless otherwise specified.
  • Football bladder valve: 6 Months against manufacturing defects.

Not Covered

  • Misuse or improper usage.
  • Ball impact damage or deformation during play.
  • Physical or accidental damage.
  • Wear and tear.
  • Negligence or improper maintenance.
  • Consumable parts and accessories unless separately covered.
  • Shape out complaints.
Martial Arts Products

Warranty Coverage

  • 2 Years against manufacturing defects in materials and stitching.
  • Valid under normal usage conditions only.

Not Covered

  • Misuse or negligence.
  • Improper storage.
  • Wear and tear.
  • Tears, cuts, punctures and impact damage.
  • Fading due to washing, sweat or sunlight.
  • Unauthorized repairs or modifications.
Other Product Categories

Backpacks

Coverage: Up to 2 Years against manufacturing defects.

  • Not covered: overloading, misuse, negligence, improper storage, tears, cuts, punctures, abrasion, regular wear and unauthorized repairs/modifications.

Gloves

Coverage: 6 Months against manufacturing defects in stitching.

  • Not covered: physical/accidental damage, cuts, tears, punctures, abrasions, misuse, negligence, improper storage/maintenance, regular wear, and failure to follow care instructions.
  • Gloves made with palm leather are subject to normal wear and tear and are not covered for peeling, cracking, abrasion or surface damage from regular use.

Bras & Underwear / Beach Short

No warranty applicable due to hygiene and personal-use considerations.

Warranty Claim Process

Visit the nearest COSMOS Sports store.

Present the purchase invoice or registered purchase details.

Submit the product for inspection.

Warranty eligibility will be determined after technical assessment.

Approved claims will be repaired, replaced, or resolved as per company policy.

Proof of Purchase

  • Customers who have registered their mobile number or email address during purchase may avail warranty services through OTP verification.
  • If purchase details are not registered, the original invoice must be presented for warranty claims.
Important Notice: COSMOS Sports reserves the right to inspect, repair, replace, or reject any warranty claim based on technical evaluation and compliance.
